I have taken a fancy to “cake fakery”. Yes, you heard me right. Even in something as creative and rewarding as baking, you sometimes hit a dead end. It’s similar to a writer’s block – the ideas are all there but you just can’t pen it down.
An incorrigible sweet addict and a compulsive baker; I have an unfathomable love affair with French pâtisserie and basically, all things French. Lashing out cupcakes and macarons every now and then between a full-time writing job wasn't just enough for me. What started off as a hobby became a ferocious passion and as a result was born this baking blog that allows me to do two of my favourite things – baking and writing about it.
